Water is something we all need and rely on to be there when we need it. We take it for granted. And it is probably one of the most regulated and political things in the conservation scene today. On this episode, I'm happy to have American River's Matt Rice join us at the 2026 Hunt Fish Podcast Summit here at the Pintail Hunting Club in Texas. Matt has spent the majority of his life on and around river systems from fishing, guiding and now helping to advocate for rivers and all of its beneficiaries. This is a great episode as we dive into why river systems are so important and learn how you can become involved to help out. Our first episode of the 2026 Hunt Fish Podcast Summit is with my good friend Chester Moore, award winning wildlife journalist, author, podcast host and Christ follower. I am so excited to have Chester back on the show to talk about all of the great shark content he has been producing since the last time we recorded. With some incredible new scientific findings through shark tagging and subsequent tracking of Great White sharks into the Gulf of America, Chester has been at the forefront of spreading the word about these incredible animals. With a newly released shark documentary and book, Chester also formed the Gulf Great White Shark Society to get people more involved and informed.
