In this sermon, we walk through the Book of Jonah and see how even a prophet can be disobedient to God. We as believers may struggle with obedience to God, but we don't have to remain that way. God's way is always the best way. Thank you for listening and sharing this sermon! #LetGodWork
Sermon Notes:
[Jonah 4:4]
1. God Sends Storms.
God appoints storms to align us with His will for our lives.
Storms reveal where our faith lies.
2. God Is In Control.
God appoints things, including us.
God provides for our needs. [Exodus 16:31] | [Psalm 78:23-26] | [John 6:46-51]
God's Will will be done whether we participate or not.
3. "Yes, You!"
We are in full control of how we respond to God.
God can handle us.
We must check our heart.
1) God does not want us to put anything or anyone above what He commands us to do.
2) Not having details commands us to have faith in Him. It produces obedience or departure.
3) God remains faithful and can handle our doubts, fears, grief, pain, and disappointment. Whatever we have, He can handle.
Thank you for listening and sharing this sermon. This is an alternate version to a previously released version. Enjoy & #LetGodWork
