I'mperfect Girl is a story of a strong and thus wonderfully vulnerable woman. Haven is young, free spirited, and wise; and she is embarking on an exciting journey of searching for her true self. She is open to new relationships, new experiences, new ideas. She prays, she loves, she ponders - and her thoughts are reflective of her generation, who's been so fast to live that when comes time to slow down - they feel lost. But who is real Haven? Where in reality is she going? Where will she land? Those are the questions that I've been trying to answer while immersed to the I'mperfect Girl's world. This world has Haven in focus, and other characters are blurred by her vision, which adds to the charm of the story.

There should be a disclaimer on the front page of this novel: don't start reading if you are not able to devote a full weekend to devouring the book, hence you won't have peace of mind until "The End". And still you will close the book with further great expectations - because it's just the beginning of and for Haven...

painful and liberating at the same time

The book explores the subject of female essence, the depth of her tenderness and whirlwind of her emotions within various types of relationships. Haven brings out all sides of a woman in her: mother, sister, friend, intellectual partner and passionate lover. While reading, I cried numerous times comparing the story to my own life. It felt engrossing, painful and liberating at the same time. Absolute must read for every woman!

Reading this book was interesting and easy as a breeze. During reading i've experienced different emotions such as happiness and sadness. The book clearly reveals real life of the author, her emotions, feelings and a journey of finding her inner piece. Love and sex, emotions and a fight within herself - you will find it all in this emotional journey.

The story of Haven starts with a detailed account of who she thinks she is and who she knows she is not. The foreword gives the reader the background on the main character and after a few pages, you really feel like you are starting to understand her life. The story is intertwined with rich details and descriptions that will transport you into whatever the moment our heroine finds herself in. The book is written in first-person voice, so there is a definite voyeuristic element to the experience of reading the book.

Haven is leading a busy life of a modern working woman, with the added complexity of going through an amicable but nonetheless life-changing divorce.
