Without the pain of struggle our kids will lack the confidence and strength they need to overcome the real difficulties of a fulfilling life.

And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” Mark 1:11-13

Trials aren’t a lack of love…

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. Hebrews 12:11-12
