Historical Black Colleges and Universities aka HBCUS are important to black history and important for African Americans today. HBCUS have produced amazing black leaders such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, WEB Dubois, Booker T Washington, Thurgood Marshall, Civil Rights Movement Leaders, Kamala Harris, Oprah Winfrey and Stacey Abrams. HBCU's such as Howard University, Fisk University, Hampton University, Spelman College, Morehouse College, Tennessee State, & Morris Brown. HBCUS are important history and important for the black future for educating African Americans in a comfortable and affordable environment,
