Lesson 62 - The conditions of wudu (ablution).

Explanation of the ten conditions of wudu.

1. Islam.

2. Sanity.

3. Discernment.

4. The intention.

5. That it is not interrupted until completed.

6. That the cause of wudu has stopped.

7. To perform istinjaa' or istijmaar before it.

8. The purity of the water and the permissibility to use it.

9. The removal of anything which prevents the water reaching the skin.

10. That the time of prayer has arrived for those whose impurity is constant.
