As of 1 January 2021, the UK will no longer be part of the EU's Single Market and Customs Union and the UK will be considered a third country from an EU VAT perspective. This means that the VAT treatment of the transactions between the UK and Belgium will, in either case (a deal or no-deal scenario), be affected.
