I'Mpossible Interview with Melissa Green

Listen Later

Welcome, listeners!

We want to take a moment and thank our sponsor - Patriot Vacation Rentals, for making this podcast possible!

In this episode, host Caroline Schafer chats with Spouse-ly service vendor Melissa Green. She's a veteran, military spouse, and CEO & Founder of Southern Sweet & Sassy Coffee & Rise Above Coffee.

As a veteran and a military spouse, Melissa loves the military community. However, she noticed a disconnect because of the many moves military families make. And she also saw that people connect over a good cup of coffee. So, thanks to the backing and support of military families, her idea formed a business to bring people together.

One thing that Melissa's company does each month is to find a non-profit to showcase and spotlight. This means that she takes the time to make sure the non-profit is vetted because they will be receiving a donation from the purchases that month. Plus, their business will be on the website and other monthly marketing.

Melissa has been a part of Bunker Labs, which has provided her access to their capital one office hours. This helped her create a marketing and communication campaign when she decided to put both coffee companies under one name - Bad Ass Coffee Causes. Unfortunately, this website isn't up and running just yet, but be watching for it! In the meantime, order her coffee today on Spouse-ly's website.
