Set in a future Earth locked in war with an alien race called the Outspacers, the story follows Spencer Olham, a brilliant government scientist working on Earth’s defensive technologies. One day, Olham is abruptly arrested by security forces and accused of being an alien imposter — not just a spy, but a perfect replicant, biologically indistinguishable from the real Spencer Olham, with one key difference: the imposter carries a miniature bomb in place of a human heart.
