Shannon Pace Brinker, CDA, CDD, graduated from the dental assisting program at Bowman Gray School of Medicine in 1994. Shannon is an active member of the AACD and the first auxiliary to sit on the AACD board of directors. She has been one of Dentistry Today’s Top 100 Clinicians for the past three years, selected as one of Dental Products Report’s 25 Most Influential Women in Dentistry, and named Dr. Bicuspid’s Dental Assistant Educator of the Year for 2012. Shannon and her husband Erik are the owners of Contemporary Product Solutions, the only dental editorial that combines product reviews for the whole dental team.
