Ben Brown, an alumnus of NCFCA, has an impressive debate portfolio. In 2019, he ranked 12th at nationals for team policy. In 2021, he got 1st place at two tournaments, and 5th place at nationals. In 2022, his final year, he won three tournaments—including winning nationals for team policy debate. Outside of debate, he won 5 tournaments in impromptu, 4 in extemp, and ranked 4th for after-dinner speaking at nationals.
