Vahakn Matossian is the co-founder of Human Instruments. He is also the artist and designer of The Baton Project, an initiative to make traditional orchestras accessible to blind and partially sighted musicians. He describes the project’s prototype of the Haptic Baton, a special conductor's baton that sends wireless signals to a band worn by musicians who are blind or partially sighted.
