The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers also held their annual awards dinner leading up to the CMA Awards.  This year the event was held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Resort, and the evening wrapped up with Ben Hayslip receiving his second consecutive songwriter of the year award.  Kelly Lynn stepped out to the red carpet to check in with many of the special guests.
