    7 words to eliminate from your vocabulary right now (make sure you listen to the episode for full instructions, examples and phrases when replacing these words):

    1.  Just – makes the sentence weaker, not stronger.
    2. Try – You can’t try anything.  Like Nike says in their famous tag line, Just do it!
    3. If – Replace the word If when the word “When.”
    4. But – Take your butt our of the conversation.  lol  You only have one but and that’s all you need.
    5. Should – Instead use: “Choose.”
    6. Hate – Instead, say “Love.”
    7. Can’t – Henry Ford once said, “Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right.”  Instead, use the phrase: “How can I…?”
    8. BONUS WORD:  Impossible – Instead, say: “Nearly Impossible” or the phrase, “How can I…” from #7 above.  Note: Credit for the phrase “nearly impossible” goes to Seth Godin who wrote many great books including “The Dip” and “Tribes:  We need you to lead us!”
