Narjia Brownlie is an instantly recognisable Australian painter. Her feminine figures have brought comfort, calm, and confident colour to walls across the world. Some time ago Narjia & I sat down in her first studio to discuss her entry into the Australian art scene, and how she found her signature style. 

Since then, Narjia has moved cities and studios multiple times. Not long before her recent transition from the sea to the city, we caught up to capture a new collection and chat all things substance, and evolution of self.
