South Africa has found itself in the middle of a diplomatic clash with the United States following the end of the G20 Summit in Johannesburg.

At the closing ceremony, South Africa was expected to officially hand over the G20 presidency to the U.S. for 2026. But this became complicated when U.S. President Donald Trump didn’t attend the summit.
