In the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, time itself has a funny way of seeming to move both very slowly and really quickly all at once. And perhaps nowhere was that more visible this past week than in the days surrounding Wisconsin's April 7 election. The Monday before was a time warp where days or weeks worth of news was compressed into a few short hours. And after ballots were cast, voters and elected officials are now waiting out a stretch of six days to find out the results. COVID time does weird things.
