Thousands of people fly over Alaska every day and with more than 130 volcanoes in the state -- 54 of them have been active in recorded history -- being able to monitor those volcanoes is incredibly important. 

Tracy sinclare spoke with a researcher from uaf who is trying to make those volcanoes a little easier to monitor.
