Depending on your previous church experience, the Apostle's Creed might be something you have memorized, something you've wondered about, or even something you have never heard of. In short it was and is a collection of the teachings from the apostles through whom God built the early church. And their teachings were all that Jesus had taught and commanded them.

It is a basic statement of belief that unites followers of Jesus in all places and time and is a declaration of following God and standing against the ways of the world.

In a world of division and disunity, it is significant that we know what unites us as followers of Jesus as we show God's love to the world.
