Like She Owns the Place

In loving memory & honour of Erin Green

Listen Later

UPDATED: It will come as no surprise to many that Erin Green was there to hype me up and support me when I mentioned I wanted to start a podcast. It was 2021 when I first launched the podcast, unprepared and unaware of what it really took to host a podcast, but of course Erin was cheering me on telling me I could do whatever it was I wanted to. We set up a 6am Zoom call with microphones from Kmart and the podcast began. As you listen you can clearly tell the Kmart quality microphone was only going to get the podcast so far, but of course Erin was always there cheering me on with great words of wisdom such as "just get yourself started and you will learn and improve as you go". Relaunching the podcast 2 years later I knew that episode 1 would always belong to Erin. If you had the privilege of meeting Erin you would know the kind of person she was and the energy she would bring to every project she was involved in, whether it was her own or someone else's. I am to always bring that Erin energy and enthusiasm to my interviews/podcast episodes to ensure the value Erin added to so many lives, continues to be honoured.
