#61 IN MY PRESENCE

Think of things that you will not hesitate to think in My presence; speak words that you will not hesitate to speak in My presence; and do things you will not hesitate to do in My presence.

It is your false self that keeps you away from your True Self by every trick it knows. In the guise of honesty, this self even deceives itself. For instance, your self claims ‘I love Baba.’ The fact is that if you really loved Baba, you would not be your self making the self-asserting statement! The self, instead of being effaced in love, believes and assert ‘I’ love Baba.

Strength begets humility, whereas modesty bespeaks weakness. Only he who is truly great can be truly humble.
