The South African democracy is a miraculous achievement, but in the almost 30 years it has been in place, there has never been a change in the party governing the country. This has been to the detriment of the country, as they have been allowed to proceed, unhindered, as they have failed to provide the future they promised to the people of the country. It is time for this to end, the 2024 elections present us with an opportunity to send a message and move back on to the right track. We just need to ask for that change. That is why I am talking to the leaders of the opposition parties, they are the ones that might be in charge of bringing about the change. View this as an easy introduction into the political landscape of the country and familiarise yourself with it over the next 18 months, because when the time for change is here, we desperately need to answer the call.
