The title alone is worth buying the book: Surviving Your Teenager and Being Happy Anyway.  Author and empowerment coach Judith Joy is quick to say this is not about parenting teenagers.  It's about helping you get through all the stuff they'll throw at you as they're finding their feet.  

 

Judith is all about, well, joy.  She wants to help you find yours, even if you're raising teenagers.  One way to do that, she says, is to really get to know yourself.  So many women, in particular, are so busy being a wife and mother that they don't really know who they are.
