Hey my name is Henri and I am the creator and host of In Our Bodies a podcast made by and for people of colour who identify as disabled, chronically ill and or neurodivergent. But honestly medical identifiers aside, if you’ve ever felt like your body or your brain just doesn’t work how it’s quote unquote supposed to, this podcast celebrates you. It is no surprise that like in many other spaces, the realm of health and disability often favors and believes white people in a way that isn’t afforded to people of colour. In Our Bodies wants to carve out a space where that isn’t the case. Every episode we invite guests to talk about their struggles, celebrate their triumphs, explore their art, their activism and honestly just talk about whatever we want because our stories are valid. I hope this podcast provides those who are being interviewed and those who listen care and joy for wherever we are in our bodies. So I hope you tune in.
