The second guest of our series Pathways In Optometry is Ereeny Mikhail. Ereeny is a Clinical Optometrist who is currently in her final year of her PhD with Deakin University. She graduated from Deakin in 2018 with a Bachelor of Vision Science & Master of Optometry and since then has worked in clinical practice and volunteering roles before beginning her PhD in Ocular Allergy. Throughout her PhD and research career, Ereeny has presented at conferences and been awarded an Outstanding Publication Award by the IMPACT institute for one of her published articles.
In this episode Jessie Whiley interviews Ereeny as she gives us an insight into life as a PhD candidate.
