In Potter's Fields.
She walks through the clouds
a late night mist......
among the many gravestones
in that cememtery
where she cannot rest.....
Ever since that sunny day
when fate came her way...
it brought her sheer loneliness.....
You see, she was
just passing through
a very small town,
she was crossing the street
when a truck turned the corner
and ran her down.
Now she's a restless soul
amidst the stones of those
unknown to her.....
some one had stolen her purse
the day before.....
and she never got home....
never got home.......
All across the U.S.A.
and all across the earth,
many souls are forced to wander
(their graveyards)
far from the place of their birth,
hoping someday, someone
will come and uncover
who they really were,
while they lie in their
unmarked graves till.....
Resurrection occurs.......
