The coterie must seek shelter upon one of Areis’ shipping boats before the sun burns them alive. This leaves them little to no time to investigate the apparent murder of Lucinda. Upon awakening, they receive a message indicating they should seek Adonidus as he may have more information for them. Before they do, Gretchen gives in to one of her weaknesses. It’s an attraction that may prove fatal for them all.
