The ministry of Jesus was all about people. Yet he also knew that occasionally he needed to step away from the crowds to be refreshed and renewed personally. Effective ministry requires an occasional time out for this same reason.

Jesus will show up today where you live if you allow the fruit of the Spirit which is goodness to be produced in your life. Just as Jesus went about doing good, so you can do the same and others will see Him in your life.

For the 12 disciples, walking with Jesus provided a 3 1/2 year enrollment in the school of life as a follower of Christ. The opportunity to be with Jesus every day prepared these men to make an impact on their world that would be monumental.

The deity of Jesus Christ and the humanity of Jesus Christ are difficult to comprehend, especially when speaking of one individual. Yet these two concepts, when combined, present a beautiful picture of Jesus.
