As he tries to create a new palliative care unit in just one day, Max assigns each of our heroes a new patient who's close to end-of-life. And their various treatment methods are exactly what you'd expect - from hosting a living patient's wake and forcing her to attend, to tripping on shrooms while playing Clair de Lune on a phone. 

Emily starts a controversial music podcast, and Polly gets her trumpet snapped in half as she's driven out of town.
