In the groove

On this episode of In The Groove we talked with Jason from Caption Chair Coaching. Jason has been in the motor sports game for years. As a young track manager all the way up to working in Nascar. As he has made his way through life and different opportunities in his career, he has found a very good spot in Coaching up and coming and striving business owners.

On the episode we got to drive into the story of NHRA Top Fuel driver Clay Millican. Clays smile is one that holds a lot of different emotions, but still shines so bright. Although life has not always handed him the best deck of card he continues to live for the moments to share another great memory with all his fans. Anytime you get a chance to get to an NHRA event stop by Clay's pit and I'm sure you will leave full of energy.

Jake has made a very good name for himself in the racing community. His hard work has him in the president role of his home town track The Williston Basin Speedway. Although he is not currently in this role he has had some opportunities to go and race down in AZ durning the ND off season. Jake's choice of class may have been a bold pick, the IMCA stock car class is packed with heavy hitter and on every night there are 12 guys that can take home the Win.

Lets try something new with NHRA's Antron Brown. AB got the final top fuel win in at the Southern Nationals this pass weekend. why not go live for the first time with a guy like Antron. We talk everything drag racing and personal life. Life lessons are always something that can be given when AB is talking, so listen up and don't forget to spread LOVE

On this episode, we got the chance to talk to a local ND driver. Dusty is 1 of the MBMS (MadBro Motorsports) driver. His family has a long history in the racing community that is very cool to see when they are at the track. From his grandpa to his kids there are many stories that I think we need to have on the show. We try and dive into the crazy idea of what its like driving a wingless sprint vs a winged sprint car.  Chatting about the past and what the future looks like I think we are on a great path to continue the racing community.

WE DOVE RIGHT IN A TALKED ABOUT THE WORST CARR FIRE ANYONE HAD SEEN. FROM THE RADIAL TRACK TO THE NHRA YOU HAVE TO BE A GREAT DIVE AND LYLE IS DOING SO WITH HAVE A TEAM MATE LIKE ALEX AND ELITE HP.

EVAN STENVOLD THE YOUNG CREW CHEIF  DROPS A LITTLE INFORMATION ON THE SHAKE UP IN THE RANKS. HE IS ON THE SHOW WITH ANOTHER GREAT YOUNG PHOTOGRAPHER IN OUR AREA TYLER HAGEN. TYLER IS THE OWNER OF THP AND DOING GREAT THINGS OUT OF THE GATE. AFTER MUCH TALK WE FIND OUT THAT EVAN HAS SET UP A PRETTY GREAT STORY THAT HAS ME THINKING THERE ARE A FEW CARS COMING OUT ..  BUT ITS ALL A LIE. On this episode of in the groove we got the chance to speak to my biggest mentor. Wes Buck is the owner of a few well know companies in the racing industry. Drag Illustrated is a house hold name, with all the great information and content that is put out in each magazine. Talking with Wes is always a great as there is so much that he has going on. We talk the big upcoming 2nd Doorslammer Nationals and what the energy around the race community is like.

On this episode of ITG (In The Groove) we brought back Larry "The Legend" McFall to keep the flow going. Our second guest is the known around the North Dakota area for his aggressive driving  style over the years. The 75 Machine of Justing "smalls" Medler lets us have it from the word go. It wasn't even 5 seconds into the feed before Smalls let the choice words fly and the cold ones open. We touched on a few key topics of what we all can do to make racing better. As we all have a very strong love and passion for the sport of racing, we think that together we can make the community grow. Smalls talks about the calls and the rules that are made in heated situations and how we need to take in the situation and the lead up to what has happen through the season. We all bring in emotion to this sport but we all love it. Larry has adopted Smalls as his own son, and has seen his growth.  We don't know what tomorrow holds but giving someone else the chance to live out a dream or work on a car is a very possible  opportunity.
