In the Last Days

Revelation 1:3 (ESV)

In the Last Days

“Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come,”

1.      Our heavenly father will sustain us by His grace.  

“who was and is and is to come!”

2.      You will be equipped by the Holy Spirit of God.  

3.      You have been provided for by Jesus the son of God. 

Revelation 1:5 (ESV)
“and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth."

• Jesus is a faithful witness to us.
• Jesus was the firstborn of the dead for us. 

Psalm 89:27 (ESV)

“I will make him the firstborn,
    the highest of the kings of the earth.”

Revelation 1:17-18 (ESV)

“Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades”

• Jesus is the ruler of the kings of the earth.
• Jesus loves us and freed us from sins. 

Revelation 1:5 (ESV)
“To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood…”

Revelation 1:5-6 (ESV)
“To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

• Jesus made us a Kingdom of priest.
