Talked with John Purnell, Race Director of the American Spirit Runabout the American Spirit Run on November 11th (Veteran’s Day). This is a relay race to commemorate the training that served in the 2nd Infantry during the Korean War, Cuban Missile Crisis, and World War II. The relay run goes from John James Park (Formally part of Fort Sam Houston) to Eisenhower Park (Formally part of Camp Bullis). The run benefits the Young Marines in San Antonio and we discussed the importance of that organization in San Antonio.
Also talked about other walking/running opportunities around San Antonio for people that wanted to test the trails.
