We are starting a series on grief.  I always knew I wanted to talk about grief when we started the podcast but couldn't find the right time.  Looking back, there were many reasons God wasn't allowing us to.  This week, the door was swung wide open again when April passed away.  Grief has so many parts to it and opens up a lot of wounds to navigate.  Today we are starting by talking about what grief looks like when you start losing someone before they are lost.  

April Hardy, A wife and mother of two.  A child of god.  Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer a year ago has been on a journey of fighting until last Monday, when she suffered a stroke.  We were scheduled to have her on the podcast and since we cannot at this time we cannot; we wanted to be her voice.

On this episode, we share a season when we prayed for God's plan but felt like he was silent.  While struggling to conceive, we lost a job and then received frightening news at our 18 week ultrasound.  Looking back 20 years later, we can clearly see that God was never silent- he was working all along.  His timing was better than ours.  He saw the full story when we could only see the moment.
