Jarde' Allen, CEO and Founder of In the Moment Financial Services, was born and raised in West Philadelphia and is a graduate of Temple University. After spending over a decade in Corporate America, earning promotions, pay raises, and accolades, she realized she was playing the wrong game—one where highly talented Black and Brown professionals were often overlooked. Determined to create her own opportunities, she left the corporate world and launched her tax business in December 2019 with just a laptop and a cell phone.
Recognizing the lack of financial literacy in minority communities, Jarde' immersed herself in tax education and began offering free consultations to small business owners. These consultations soon led to a thriving business, allowing her to invest her first $40K into a commercial building in her childhood neighborhood. That space has since become a financial resource hub, offering home-buying workshops, LLC giveaways, and more.
Her decision to reinvest in real estate has grown into a $1.5 million portfolio, including five properties, nine rental units, and an event space. Now, she dedicates her summers to teaching minority entrepreneurs the power of ownership and wealth-building. With a goal to retire by 40, Jarde' is committed to sharing her journey and expertise to empower others and uplift her community.
