SHALE Oil & Gas Business Magazine recently produced the inaugural State of Energy luncheon on October 14th. The event was hosted by the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce at the Solomon P. Ortiz Center in beautiful Corpus Christi, Texas. Our Keynote speaker was Matt Most from Encana Natural Gas Inc., and he delivered a very straightforward and optimistic message to the sold-out crowd at our event. Matt touched on subjects including regulatory framework, the energy revolution, access to resources, world class refineries/pipelines & rail systems, safety, our industry's talent pool, our competitively growing market and other key topics. This was a successful event not because of the amount of people that showed up, but because of the education was shared during the event.
