In John 13:1–17, Jesus, knowing His hour had come, demonstrates His love by washing His disciples’ feet, taking the role of a servant. He teaches that no servant is greater than his master and calls them to follow His example of humble service. The passage concludes with the blessing that those who understand and practice this will be truly blessed.
