It's nice when movies can still get you...

It's easy to say that everything has been done before...except that it really hasn't and the proof is in the new film 'Caveat' which debuted yesterday on the Shudder streaming service.

It's the story of a lone drifter suffering from partial amnesia who accepts a job to look after a psychologically troubled woman in an abandoned house on an isolated island.

The premise alone got our blood pressure up, but this film from Irish newcomer Damian McCarthy is funny, and more then a little bent.

We talked with him about the idea for the film, shooting on a budget but still crafting something with real flare and the joys of having a movie, f*** you up...if only a little bit...
