The $22-billion national disability insurance scheme goes national this week and while it enjoys rare bi-partisan support, questions have been raised over its sustainability and value for money.

Citi Group has been running the ruler over the scheme and says the ground breaking social policy reform will provide significant employment benefits generating somewhere up to one in five jobs nationally.
