In the Valley

Please turn in your Bibles to Psalm 84:5-7

Incarnation: “In the flesh”

“All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”). Matthew 1:22-23

Point: We may enjoy God on the mountaintops, but we get to know Him intimately in the valleys

Blessed are those whose strength is in you,

whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.

6 As they pass through the Valley of Baka,

they make it a place of springs;

the autumn rains also cover it with pools.

7 They go from strength to strength,

till each appears before God in Zion. Psalm 84:5-7

1: God with Us = Strength in the Valley

V 6: Valley of Baka: Valley of Tears

V 5a: Blessed are those whose strength is in you.

“My strength is made perfect in weakness…” 2 Corinthians 12:9
