Hezekiah, even though he was somewhat a good king, was only focused on his life and not the faith, security and peace of the subsequent generation. Likewise, our faith can be self-centered, focused solely on us. As God revives us, He desires that we don’t just live for ourselves, but for every subsequent generation as well. God desires that all of us become a Patriarch for future generations.
