In Colossians 2, Paul reminds the Colossians what it means and looks like to receive Christ and to walk in Him. In order to step in Jesus, we must step out of something and leave something behind. We don't have the ability to earn God's love. The only way to walk with Him is to trust in His finished work, not your works. At salvation, we are rooted in Christ. Once we are rooted in Christ, we are rooted once and for all. If we are rooted, the more built up and established we are to resemble Christ. The question is though...Have you been rooted in Christ? Listen to this sermon from part seven of our In The Word series as we walk through the book of Colossians.
