In his letter to the church of Colossae, Paul is not just praying that they be filled with the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of who God is but he's also doing something about it. Paul speaks of Jesus being Creator, the head of the Church, and Savior. For you to step from darkness to light, it has nothing to do with you but it is only by the grace of Jesus. To step from darkness to light, it has nothing to do with you but it is only by the grace of Jesus. In that moment of salvation, we are adopted into the family of God. We are reconciled back to the Father. That's what salvation is. Listen to this sermon from part four of our In The Word series as we walk through the book of Colossians.
