Remembering who Christ is and what He has done should birth a response in us as Christ followers. As we take time to remember who Christ is and who we are in Christ, we see that communion is remembering the covenant between us and God. We need to remember why God saved us to begin with. It was because He desired a relationship with us and Jesus' sacrifice was the reconciliation of this broken relationship. This is why we celebrate. Listen to this sermon from part nine of our In The Word series as we walk through the book of Colossians.
