In Colossians 3:1-4, Paul tells the Colossians to walk in who they are in Christ. It’s not just about knowing who we are in Christ but now taking advantage of who we are in Christ. If we are in Christ, we should live like it. As Paul reminds the Colossians, we must keep seeking the things above and set our minds on the things above. The more we know about Him, the more we will look like Him. When our affections and love for our Savior grows for who He is, it produces obedience because we are being molded into the image of God. Once we are in Christ, there is nothing the enemy can do to take Christ from us. This is hope. This is victory. Watch this sermon from part eleven of our In The Word series as we walk through the book of Colossians.
