In Colossians 2:12-15, Paul reminds the Colossians what it means to be baptized. Baptism is an outward expression of a spiritual event. Just as a wedding ring is an emblem of a marriage, baptism Is the emblem of salvation. Baptism does not save you but it is the proclamation of your salvation. The two questions are: (1) Have you gone public with your salvation? and (2) Have you ever trusted Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Listen to this sermon from part eight of our In The Word series as we walk through the book of Colossians.
