What started with a text from my daughter about “Lake America” sent me down a research rabbit hole. From renaming bodies of water to education, the cost of living, public health, immigration and war, I found myself asking one simple question: With everything happening in our country and our world, what are we doing? This isn’t about politics. It’s about priorities—and trying to understand them.
