Mark 11:12-14, 20-24; 13:28-31, Jesus and the Fig Tree

Appearances can be deceptive, not only can they cause misleading assumptions, but they can keep us from realizing the correct path. God pushes us to transform ourselves, to make changes that may not be visible to anyone else. And to change again and again, ever reaching for Jesus’s example.
