Countdown to Christmas OR Rochelle's Birthday? Rochelle started opening the Jenny Box for her countdown to her birthday and found a broken surprise. She checked Leslie's and her box was in tact. Leslie has decorated for Christmas and chat about all of her tree decorations. The girls are getting ready to go to retreat in Sunset, Texas and they talk about their prepared projects. This week, the girls were at International Quilt Market and had an extraordinary time meeting so many of their virtual friends in person! This week the girls catch up on Camp Rochelle Wanna Sew. Also, there were sit ins for Leslie at the Guild meeting where she was nominated and voted to help Rochelle run programs for the next two years. Rochelle gives some tips for needles with paper piecing. They talk through where they are with the Christmas Quilt Kit Sew Alongs. So much cutting, but sew worth it! This week, the girls start shipping out quilt kits! Rochelle has finished the first two already and Leslie hasn't even starched. So, everyone gets the benefit of hearing about the learning moments from Rochelle! They are also preparing to go to Missouri for the Missouri Star Birthday Bash! 16 years of fun and pre-cuts! The girls will be in the parade on Wednesday, so if you're there come say hello. Rochelle talks about a new bag from Yazzi that she is enjoying. They give a quick book review of a book that they both have read recently. Rochelle also gives an update on some recent experiences with some vintage material. Color catchers are a must when it comes to washing things like this because of the dye they used back then. This episode is full of interesting tidbits and you'll enjoy every moment!
