The censer of incense is the first item of the Holiest place with which we have to deal. But there is a problem, in that the altar of incense stands OUTSIDE the Holiest… The censer of incense was to be carried into the Holiest by the priest… This morning we will examine the scriptures and attempt to resolve this antiphony. We will speak of incense, of fire, of blood and the Holy God who cannot be approached… but we will also speak of Christ who Himself has made a way for us to be in the presence of God.
