An interpersonal relationship is one of the five pillars of the Emotional Intelligence model (Bar-on 1997). Without the ability to seek out and start and maintain personal relationships, there is no EQ. REMEMBER when you were in school and sat at a particular table? Did you ever wish to be invited into groups or tables? We are not far removed from this need to be included even in our adulthood.
Inclusivity is the key!
